The Global Relay Bridge the Gap Program at work: A pair of local Canadian riders, Lex Albrecht and Leah Kirchmann, have captured top podium position at the Friday and Sunday events at this year’s Tour de Delta. Both are participants in the 2013 Global Relay Bridge the Gap program, receiving funding, mentorship, coaching and equipment to help them transition into full-time professional cycling. These two massively talented young cyclists have long careers ahead of them, but have already taken the cycling community by storm!
